Mr. Asti is a principal of Strategic Planning Concepts. A graduate of Michigan State University, he has devoted over a 15 years to the financial services industry.
After beginning his career at Sagemark Consulting, Trevor left to provide independent and objective advice to the clients of SPC. Throughout his career, he has helped clients define their financial goals and has implemented customized strategies to help them reach those goals. His areas of expertise include global asset management, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax minimization strategies. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM, CFP®, designation. The CFP® designation is recognized in the United States and a number of other countries for its (1) high standard of professional education; (2) stringent code of conduct and standards of practice; and (3) ethical requirements that govern professional engagements with clients.
Trevor has extensive experience in corporate sponsored retirement plans. He is a sought after speaker on corporate sponsored retirement plan topics such as The Use of Qualified Default Investment Alternatives (QDIAs), The Pension Protection Act of 2006, and Fee Disclosure. Trevor has also earned the AIF® Designation, from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, certifying he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process.
Trevor and his wife, Heather, reside in Rochester Hills, MI. When he is not working, he enjoys travelling and golfing with his wife and competing in the sport of swimming. He is also actively involved in his local church and community.
